Jaime, a member of Junior League of Westchester on the Sound in Westchester, NY, recently wrote us about a project she was asked to participate in. The Sound Shore Medical Center in New Rochelle desperately needed a facelift in some of its child-oriented waiting rooms. Because the center's options for paint and decorating were limited, Jaime's personal experience with RoomMates led her to seek out our wall decals as a solution to their problem. She writes:

The Junior League on the Sound is a not-for-profit organization helping women and children in the community. As part of our recrutiment project, we were asked to give the Sound Shore Medical Center a facelift. The directors of the center wanted to keep the paint color [the same], so we looked for a way to spruce up the space, and searching online brought me to the RoomMates website. What a great idea! I had already used the products in my own childrens' room [...] so what better way to decorate the five waiting rooms at Sound Shore?

The Junior League members selected five gender-neutral decorating themes for kids: Transportation, Space Travel, Sea Creatures, Monsters, and Treasure Hunt. Once their RoomMates wall decals arrived, they got to work on decorating the waiting rooms... and they were kind enough to share some of their pictures with us!

The members of the Junior League did a GREAT job making over the waiting rooms—and it looks like they had a lot of fun doing it! We love seeing the way RoomMates transformed these once stark rooms into something warm and welcoming for young patients. We hope the Sound Shore Medical Center is enjoying their new facelift, and that these wall stickers put smiles on the faces of many for years to come.

Thanks so much for sharing your photos with us, Jaime!
