Return Policy

With the exception of custom wall decals, you may return unused merchandise, for any reason, within 30 days of the date of your original purchase from our website. RoomMates will process a credit to your credit card less original shipping and handling, 10% restocking fee, and return freight. You must follow the Returns process below to receive your credit.

Returns

  1. To request a return, log in to your RoomMates account and go to your Order History page. Click the "Details" button to the right of the order containing an item you would like to return. Check the box next to each item you would like to return, then click the "Return Items" button. You will then be presented with the Return Form. Please complete the form as indicated and click the "Submit" button at the bottom. Once we have reviewed your return request, we will e-mail you with a return authorization number if your return was accepted.

    Alternately, you can call RoomMates® at 800-236-4520, or e-mail us at info@roommatespeelandstick.com, to request a return authorization number. Please be sure to include your order number with your e-mail.

  2. Upon acceptance of your return request, an return authorization number will be issued, and a prepaid UPS return label will be mailed to you. Please include, within the return packaging, a copy of your original receipt with the return authorization number noted. If you would prefer not to wait for a prepaid label, merchandise can be returned (via the shipper of your choice) to the following address:

  3. Once we have received your merchandise in unused condition, we will issue a credit to your credit card. All returns must be accompanied by a valid RA number, and are subject to a 10% restocking fee and return shipping fee.

Defective or Damaged Merchandise

RoomMates will replace merchandise due to manufacturing defects or shipping damage within 30 days of the date of purchase. You must follow the return process above to request replacement merchandise. There is no restocking fee for defective or damaged merchandise.

Custom Wall Decal Return Policy

    RoomMates custom wall decals are returnable only in the event of a printing defect. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the image provided for their custom decal is clear and of high quality. RoomMates cannot issue refunds for decals that are blurry as a result of a low quality image. Please use caution when selecting and trimming an image for these products!

    In the event of a printing defect on a custom decal, RoomMates will accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of receipt. All returned custom wall decals must be accompanied by the original invoice and a valid return authorization (RA) number. Custom decals that are returned without a RA number, or in working condition (no defects) with the backing removed, will be rejected and no credit will be issued. Please follow the return process listed above in the event of a defect, and a customer service representative will respond to your request as quickly as possible.
