What’s so special about RoomMates custom wall decals?
All of our custom designs are proofed, printed, and shipped within 7-14 business days of submission. No order is too big or small: we can print a single logo for your small business, or a hundred stickers for your soccer league. And like all RoomMates, our custom wall decals are removable, repositionable, and reusable, and printed right here in the USA. We think they’re pretty great!
What sizes are available?
Currently, you can choose from the following shapes and sizes:
- Ovals: available in 5”, 16”, 24”, and 33”
- Circles: available in 5”, 16”, and 24”
More shapes and sizes are coming soon, so keep an eye on our website!
Can you create a wall decal of a custom size, or cut around the outline of my art?
Currently, we are only manufacturing the shapes and dimensions listed above. However, in the future, we do plan to offer custom sizes or “cut-out” shapes.
Can I use my own art on a custom wall decal?
Yes! While you are in the custom wall decal design studio, select the “Upload Image” option in the menu on the left side of your screen. You will then be asked to browse to the location of your art on your computer. After the art is uploaded, you will be able to use it in your decal!
To ensure that your custom wall decal is of the highest quality, please use the highest possible resolution or size when uploading your own art, and pay close attention to the on-screen messages that may warn you about blurriness or quality issues. Please also note that you may only upload photographs or art that you own or have created. Click the Policies tab above for more information on what we can and cannot print on a custom decal.
How soon will I get my custom wall decal?
Custom wall decals typically print and ship within seven business days of order receipt, but some orders may take longer. You may receive other items from your order before your custom decal arrives. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for more information.
Once your custom wall decal has shipped, you will be notified via email, and a tracking number will be provided for you. You can also use our Order Status page to keep an eye on your order as it progresses.
Can I share my designs with my friends?
Yes! You can share your custom wall decal with your Facebook friends, Twitter followers, or via email. While in the design studio, you can click any one of these buttons on the right side of your screen to share your creation with your friends and family. When your friends click the link, they’ll be taken right into our design studio to see exactly what you’ve created. They can even use your design as a “template” to make their own custom decal!
How do I save my design for later? What if I want to use a design again?
While in the design studio, you should see a “Save Design” option on the right side of your screen. This will allow you to save a custom wall decal design so you can finish it at a later time, or reprint a design you’ve already purchased. Please note that you will need an account on our website to save and reopen designs.
How do I…?

Look for special icons on select studio functions that will allow you to read helpful tips and instructions for creating your decal. If we’re missing that perfect piece of art, or if there’s a function you can’t live without, we need to know about it! Send us an email with the subject line “Custom Wall Decal Suggestion,” or reach out to us on Facebook or Twitter with your best idea. If we think you’re on to something, we may just add it to our studio!
Policies
By using the custom wall decal studio, you agree to the following policies. Please read carefully before use.
Shipping Policy
Custom wall decals are printed and shipped within 7-14 business days of order receipt. Please allow an additional five to seven days processing time for orders of ten or more. PLEASE NOTE: If your order contains both RoomMates wall decals and one or more custom items, your custom wall decal(s) will ship separately from the rest of your order. Tracking numbers will be provided at the time of each shipment.
Due to their varied production time, expedited shipping is not currently available on orders containing custom items, nor can we honor any “RUSH” requests on custom wall decals at this time.
Return & Exchange Policy
Due to the unique nature of custom wall decals, RoomMates does not accept returns of these items. We strive to print all custom wall decals exactly as they appear on your screen. Please ensure that your custom design(s) are of the appropriate color(s), use proper spelling and grammar, and contain all desired elements before submitting your order. Returns will not be accepted in the event of a spelling error, improper color selection, or quality problems caused by user-submitted images (ex. blurriness, pixelation, or artifacts).
In the event of a manufacturing defect or printing error, we will exchange your custom wall decal free of charge. Please visit our Contact Us page to notify us in the event of a problem.
Proper Use Policy
RoomMates reserves the right to reject or refuse submitted custom wall decals at its sole discretion. Your design will be rejected if it contains any of the following: profanity, nudity, promotion of or reference to illegal activities (i.e. drug usage), racial or ethnic slurs, or other questionable content which RoomMates deems inappropriate to produce. RoomMates also reserves the right to reject any and all designs which contain copyrighted, registered, trademarked, or otherwise licensed artwork to which you have not been granted the rights to reproduce. If you are producing a custom wall decal on behalf of an organization with a trademarked logo or other image, or have been given express written permission to reproduce an image (such as a professional photograph), please contact us before placing your order.
If your submitted design is rejected, you will be notified within three business days and issued a full refund for this portion of your order, including taxes and/or shipping fees (if applicable).
Privacy Policy
We collect personally identifiable information, like your name, shipping and/or billing address, email address, and phone number when voluntarily submitted as part of your order. We may use this information to contact you with questions about your order, or to notify you of possible delays or cancellations. Only authorized employees, agents, and contractors (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) have access to and will use this information, should it be deemed necessary.
By uploading an image for usage in our studio, you authorize us to reproduce it in the manner you have specified. You understand that we will retain your images or custom designs on a secure server for a period of up to three years, and will only access them after printing upon request (ex. review of defects or reprinting). Again, only authorized employees, agents, and contractors have access to these images.
